Overview
LeadHub ("we", "our", or "the app") helps sales professionals capture and follow up with conference connections. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Account Information: Email address used for authentication.
Contact Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, and job titles extracted from business cards you photograph or upload.
Audio Data: Conversation recordings you choose to make, which are transcribed and then used to generate follow-up email drafts.
Business Card Images: Photos of business cards you capture or upload for contact extraction.
Profile Information (Optional): A brief description of your professional role, which you may provide in the Settings page to personalize company research.
Usage Data: Connection count and usage metrics for billing purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide core app functionality: transcribing conversations, extracting contact info from business cards, generating follow-up emails, and researching companies
- To sync data with your Salesforce account (only if you enable this feature)
- To manage your account and process in-app purchases
AI Data Processing
To provide core app features, the following personal data is sent to third-party AI services for processing:
- Conversation Audio Recordings: Sent to Amazon Transcribe (operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc.) for speech-to-text transcription.
- Conversation Transcripts: Sent to Amazon Bedrock (operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc.), which uses Anthropic Claude (by Anthropic, PBC) as the underlying AI model, to generate personalized follow-up email drafts.
- Business Card Photos: Sent to Amazon Textract (operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc.) for text extraction, and to Amazon Bedrock / Anthropic Claude for parsing contact information (name, email, phone, company, job title).
- Company Names (extracted from business cards): Sent to Brave Search API (operated by Brave Software, Inc.) to retrieve publicly available information about the company.
- Company Search Results & Your Profile Description: Sent to Amazon Bedrock / Anthropic Claude to generate a brief company research summary tailored to your professional role. Your optional "About You" profile description is included to personalize the research.
All data transmitted to these services uses HTTPS encryption. Data is processed in the AWS us-east-1 (N. Virginia) region. These AI services do not retain your data for model training purposes.
Before your data is processed by AI services for the first time, the app will ask for your explicit consent. You may revoke this consent at any time from the Settings screen, which will prompt you again before the next data processing.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including encrypted storage (S3) and databases (DynamoDB). All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide app functionality:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud hosting, data storage, AI processing (Transcribe, Textract, Bedrock)
- Anthropic (Claude AI, via AWS Bedrock): Contact extraction from business cards, follow-up email draft generation, and company research summarization
- Brave Software (Brave Search API): Public web search for company information to generate research briefs
- Salesforce: CRM integration (only when you explicitly connect your account)
- Apple: Authentication and in-app purchase processing
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide app functionality.
Your Rights
You can:
- Delete individual connections and their associated data at any time within the app
- Disconnect your Salesforce account at any time
- Delete your entire account and all associated data directly within the app by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, all connections, recordings, transcripts, business card images, and any other data from our servers.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Audio recordings are processed for transcription and stored securely. You may delete connections at any time.
Children's Privacy
LeadHub is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
